Overview
Christopher is a Counsel in the Banking Department at Linklaters. He has a broad practice acting for both borrowers and finance providers across the credit spectrum on a wide range of debt financing transactions. Christopher has a focus on complex cross-border corporate acquisition financings, involving public takeovers and private acquisitions. He also advises on general corporate financing matters (investment grade, cross-over credit and leveraged), including bilateral and syndicated lending. Christopher additionally has experience of complex debt restructurings and real estate financing.

- Advising Sibanye Gold on the syndicated loan financing for its approx. $2.2bn acquisition of Stillwater Mining.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders on the conventional and Sharia'a-compliant credit facilities for Equate’s approx. $3.2bn acquisition of MEGlobal.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders on the loan financing for Dufry’s approx. €3.6bn acquisition of World Duty Free.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders on the loan financing for A.P. Møller – Mærsk’s approx. €3.7bn acquisition of Hamburg Süd.
- Advising Old Mutual on the financing aspects of the publicly-announced managed separation of the group.
