Linklaters nominated for DIAN Decade ‘Diversity & Inclusion Pioneering Initiative in Asia’ Award
Linklaters were delighted to be nominated for the DIAN Decade Award for D&I Pioneering Initiative in Asia alongside finalists including Shell and Telstra. The nomination was in recognition of our recent mental health campaign, which demonstrated our understanding and advocation of diversity and inclusion within Asia.
Linklaters is always looking for new and creative ways to make a positive impact in the D&I space in Asia and we were recently featured as a case study in a report produced by Community Business. The report, titled ‘Embracing Mental Health in the Workplace in Asia’, showcased a selection of our initiatives that promote workplace mental health alongside other corporates including, Barclays, BNY Mellon, IBM and Shell,
Linklaters is committed to addressing mental health in our workplaces, in Asia, and globally. Partner, Gilbert Li shared our Asian campaign focused on four key strategies at the DIAN Decade Conference; Nurturing readiness, increasing knowledge, building commitment and bringing an Asian perspective.
Linklaters’ Partner, David Kidd, plays a significant role in advocating workplace mental health within the firm and believes that "Our strategy is to encourage our people to take responsibility for their own physical and mental health, but also to guide our partners and leaders to support the health and wellbeing of every member of their teams and look out for, recognise and address the signs of ill health (both mental and physical)."
