Alex Skepastianos

Alex is an Associate within the M&A Corporate practice in Stockholm. His experience includes advising Swedish and international clients such as corporate and private equity houses in various large-scale international acquisitions, divestments and IPOs.

Work highlights

• The private equity arm of a large investment bank: advising on its role as financial lead investor in the USD 1.1bn convertible note investment round

• PAI Partners S.à.r.l.: advising on the €2.155bn divestment of Swedish Atos Medical to Coloplast A/S.

• Keppel Infrastructure Trust and Keppel Corporation Limited: advising on their joint €160m investment for a 33.33% stake in a joint investment vehicle

• EssilorLuxottica/Synoptik: advising on the acquisition of optical business Smarteyes from investment company Mellby Gård and minority sellers

• IK Investment Partners and Netel: advising on the listing of Netel Holding AB (publ) on Nasdaq Stockholm

• BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited: advising on the acquisition of an industrial property

Alex started his career at Linklaters in 2021 as an Associate. Before joining Linklaters, Alex was a Summer Associate at another law firm in Sweden.

Alex holds an LL.M from Lund University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics. He has also spent time as an exchange student studying law at University of Glasgow.
