Linklaters in Paris brings together two Presidents to speak about Europe

In celebration of the firm’s 175th anniversary and 40 years of presence in France, Linklaters hosted a unique debate about the future of Europe on Wednesday 9 October in partnership with the Robert Schuman Foundation and economic newspaper Les Echos.

The occasion brought together for the first time Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, former President of the French Republic, and Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council and, historically, the “first President of Europe”.
