Overview
Pierre is a renowned public law practitioner focusing on infrastructure, energy and regulated sectors more generally.
He has gained significant experience working on landmark transactions over the last 15 years in France and abroad, from concessions to M&A in highly regulated sectors and privatisation/nationalisation. His practice covers public law, project finance, public procurement, state aid, inbound investment and foreign investment control, state property and environment.
Recent projects worked on include most of the major French PPPs or concessions, the development and financing of renewable projects and various transactions in regulated sectors. Pierre also advises companies in the context of litigation before administrative courts or regulators.
Work highlights
Pierre Guillot has been advising sponsors, lenders, bidders or the public sector on most of the major French projects involving the public sector over the last 15 years, including the SEA, CNM and BPL high-speed rail lines, the first three offshore windfarms or the A69 motorway.
Professional experience
A lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2005, Pierre joined our public law and projects team as a partner in 2019. He had previously been part of the team between 2008 and 2015.
Education and qualifications
Pierre graduated from the University of Paris X Nanterre (Undergraduate degree in Public law and English) and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Masters’ degree in Public law).
He speaks French and English.
