ISDA publishes Hong Kong Country Annex to the ISDA 2015 Universal Resolution Stay Protocol

On 21 December 2017, ISDA published the Hong Kong Country Annex to the ISDA 2015 Universal Resolution Stay Protocol (the “ISDA 2015 URP”). The ISDA 2015 URP was developed by a working group of ISDA member institutions, in coordination with the Financial Stability Board (“FSB”), as a contractual solution to give cross-border effect to foreign resolution actions, particularly with respect to stays on early termination rights.
