Overview

Amanda is an associate in Linklaters' U.S. antitrust practice. She has experience advising on U.S. merger control and foreign investment advice for domestic and international clients in all phases of the regulatory review process. She also counsels clients on enforcement and compliance matters on antitrust law issues. Amanda has worked on proposed and consummated matters across several sectors including healthcare, life sciences, industrials, and financial services.

Work highlights

Recently, Amanda has advised:

  • Covestro AG on its ongoing acquisition of DSM’s Resins and Functional Materials business;
  • Bayer AG on the US$ 7.6bn sale of its animal health business to Elanco Animal Health;
  • A leading exchange platform on several proposed transactions in the financial services industry; and
  • Various pharmaceutical companies on strategic risk evaluations for U.S. antitrust enforcement in the pharmaceutical and bio-tech space.

Professional experience

Prior to joining Linklaters in 2018, Amanda completed an externship in the office of legal counsel for the World Health Organization.

Education and qualifications

Amanda holds a B.A. from St. John’s College, Annapolis, as well as a J.D. from University of Michigan Law School.
