Overview

Tommi works as a Licensed Legal Counsel (Finland) at Linklaters’ Global Antitrust & Foreign Investment practice, based in Brussels.

He advises on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance and antitrust compliance issues. He also advises clients to navigate foreign direct investment filings at the international level. 

Professional experience

Tommi joined the firm as a legal intern in 2020 and was promoted to Licensed Legal Counsel (Finland) in 2021. Prior to joining Linklaters, he completed a traineeship with the European Commission, Directorate-General for Competition, where he worked in a unit specialising in mergers in the automotive, energy and environmental sectors.

Education and qualifications

Tommi holds an LL.M. degree specialising in Competition, Innovation and Trade Law from London School of Economics, as well as a second LL.M. degree specialising in European Law from Leiden Law School.

He is qualified as a Licensed Legal Counsel in Finland.

Tommi speaks English and Finnish.
