Overview

Victor Burki is an associate based in Antwerp who joined the Belgian Corporate and Finance practice at Linklaters in 2018. He advises on all aspects of corporate law, including M&A and equity capital markets.

Victor assists clients on both domestic and international transactions. He regularly advises on equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, Rights Issues and Accelerated Bookbuild Offerings. Furthermore, he regularly advises on corporate transactions, including M&A.

  • a U.S. private equity fund on its €50m investment in the Belgian football club Club Brugge;
  • Agfa-Gevaert on the €975m sale of part of its HealthCare IT business; and
  • SCR-Sibelco on the divestment of its lime and limestone operations in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Argentina and Chile

Victor holds a Master of Laws (magna cum laude) from the University of Antwerp.
