Overview

Ken is a New York and English qualified senior associate, who focuses on high yield bond and leveraged finance transactions.

Ken advises investment banks, financial sponsors and corporates on public and private capital markets and finance transactions, including high yield bond offerings and private placements, syndicated loan financings, private capital lending transactions, other acquisition financings, liability management transactions and restructurings.

Work highlights

Over the course of his career, including at a previous firm, Ken has advised on a wide range of finance transactions, including on a number of high yield bond and syndicated loan financings and restructuring transactions for Ardonagh, eir, Fedrigoni, GEMS Education, Jaguar Land Rover, Kongsberg Automotive, Lottomatica, Together, Vivion Investments,United Group and WiZink Bank.

Ken also has experience advising on structured finance transactions, including European whole business securitizations, infrastructure/utilities acquisition financings, mortgage-backed and receivables securitizations, loan portfolio financings and derivatives transactions.

Ken has also advised on a variety of social finance and pro bono transactions, including public and private debt financing packages to support charitable initiatives in the United Kingdom, European Union, Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2023, Ken was seconded to J.P. Morgan’s capital markets desk (High Yield and Leveraged Loans) in London.

Ken previously worked at a leading U.S. law firm in London and was seconded to the legal department of a leading U.S. investment bank in London in 2021. Prior to that, Ken practised in the Linklaters Capital Markets group in London.

Ken studied Business and Law at University College Dublin.
