Overview

Maciej is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat) and has been with the firm since 2015. He advises on debt products in various industries and over the last years most notably on energy and infrastructure deals (wind farm, PV, waste-to-energy, roads), but also on the financing of different real estate asset classes (logistics, office, hospitality, PRS). He also regularly advises on loan hedging documentation. Maciej is involved with innovation initiatives in the Warsaw office and promotes use of legal tech tools in the daily work of the practice, as well as of the business teams in the firm.

Maciej’s recent highlights includes advising:

  • PAD-RES: advising on the financing of the Genowefa PV plant in Poland.
  • PKO Bank Polski, Santander Bank Polska S.A., BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A.: advising on the financing for Grupa Pracuj S.A.
  • Meridiam and Urbaser: advising on the financing of the construction of a waste-to-energy facility in Olsztyn, Poland.
  • EBRD and BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A.: advising on PLN 700m financing of the acquisition and construction of a portfolio of wind and PV farms.
  • A consortium led by Bank Pekao S.A.: advising on PLN 10bn syndicated facility.
  • PKO Bank Polski: advising on the financing of the acquisition of Bank Pekao S.A. by Polski Fundusz Rozwoju S.A.

Education and qualifications

Maciej holds a master’s degree from the University of Warsaw.
