Shilpa Bhandarkar

Shilpa is Co-head of the Client Solutions & Innovation team, leading the firm’s offering around emerging technologies, innovation and automation, and is the CEO of CreateiQ, the firm’s flagship contracting platform. She also co-chairs of the firm’s Generative AI Steering Group.

Shilpa started her career as an Energy & Infrastructure, and then Corporate lawyer before changing careers and moving to entrepreneurship. After successfully exiting a business and growing a legal technology start-up, she re-joined the firm as the Global Head of Innovation in 2018, taking over responsibility for CreateiQ in 2020.

She has been listed as a leading ‘Disruptor’ in The Lawyer Hot 100, 2019 and an ‘Individual winner’ of the ‘TechWomen100 Awards, 2018’.

Shilpa holds an undergraduate and law degree from the National Law School of India (Bangalore, India) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School (Cambridge, USA).
