Overview

Cédric joined Linklaters Luxembourg in January 2023.

Cédric is specialised in private funds. He advises fund managers on the structuring and formation of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment structures. He has extensive experience in a wide range of investment strategies including private equity, real estate, infrastructure and credit. He also advises investors (mainly institutional investors and supranational entities) on their prospective fund investments. 

Cédric also advises fund managers and investors on ESG matters from a regulatory and transactional perspective. He has an in-depth knowledge of numerous hard and soft law ESG regimes including the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure and Taxonomy Regulations, United Nations for Principles Responsible Investment, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures. 

Prior to joining Linklaters Luxembourg, Cédric worked at international law firms in Luxembourg, and he has been seconded to the legal and ESG team of one of the world’s largest alternative fund manager.

Cédric regularly publishes articles with focus on ESG.

Education and qualifications

Cédric holds a certificate in US Contract Law from Harvard University (USA), an advanced master’s degree in International Arbitration from the University of Montpellier (France) as well as a master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Bordeaux (France).

He is fluent in English and French
