  • Acting for a leading payment scheme in relation to numerous “stand alone” litigation proceedings brought by major retailers alleging that multilateral interchange fees on card transactions were levied in breach of Article 101 and Article 102 TFEU (and various domestic competition laws) before the High Court, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
  • Acting for a global financial institution in a complex cross-border and dual-track criminal and regulatory investigation into anti-money laundering/financial crime systems and controls and reputational risk management.
  • Acting for a global corporate in multijurisdictional civil, governmental and criminal proceedings, leading to settlement with a class of overseas victims arising from a significant product liability issue facing one of its subsidiaries.
