Linklaters advised Sonnedix on the acquisition and subsequent €189m refinancing of five car park solar power plants
Linklaters Paris advised Sonnedix (an independent solar energy producer) on all aspects of the acquisition and subsequent EUR 189m refinancing of five car park solar power plants in France (with a total installed capacity of 55 MW).
The refinancing was arranged by a banking pool led by Caixabank S.A., La Banque Postale, MUFG Bank, Ltd. and Société Générale.
The Linklaters team worked alongside Sonnedix was led by François April, Partner in Project Finance and Cyril Boussion, Partner in Tax. The team also included Samuel Bordeleau, Romain Marchand, Etienne Paletto and Léa Prince Agbodjan (Associates in Project Finance), Nadine Eng (Associate in Tax), Thomas Pontacq and Olivier Pâris (Associates in M&A), Saadoun Alioua (Associate in Real Estate), and Thibaud Troublaïewitch and Sandra Hoballah Campus (Associates in Public Law).
