Linklaters appoints new Director of Information Systems & Strategy (ISS)
Linklaters has recruited Matt Peers as the firm’s new Director of Information Systems & Strategy (ISS). Matt will join Linklaters as Director of ISS in May, taking over from Sue Hall who will be retiring from the firm.
Matt Peers is currently Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the UK and Switzerland at Deloitte. He started his career at Arthur Andersen, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. In 1999 he joined Carphone Warehouse and transferred to the IT division. In 2008 he was made Managing Director for IT with responsibility for all IT operations and services, vendor relations, development, architecture, security and IT strategy as well as Finance and HR Shared Services.
In his role at Deloitte Matt has built a UK IT leadership team and delivered a number of initiatives including mobility (BYOD), a new website and greatly enhanced system and data security.
