Overview

Anna is an associate in the Competition/Antitrust practice of Linklaters in Paris. She advises clients in all areas of competition law and, in particular, in antitrust litigation, audits and merger control.

Work highlight 

Recent significant matters in which Anna has been involved include:

  • Advising Tarkett on the French Competition Authority’s cartel investigation in the resilient flooring sector, which led to the Authority’s decision of 2017 imposing the highest total fine since 2015 (€ 302 million). This was the first major cartel case in which the new settlement procedure was applied
  • Advising Tarkett on several follow-on damage cases 
  • Advising Intermarché, Tereos and other international groups on a range of competition issues
  • Advising large companies active in various industrial sectors (automobile, gas engines, floor coverings, etc.) on the antitrust feasibility analysis of M&A transactions as well as on several merger notifications to the European Commission and foreign competition authorities (including Brazil, Serbia and Morocco).   
 

Professional experience

Anna joined Linklaters as an associate in 2017. She previously worked as an associate in another international law firm in Paris. As a trainee, she worked for other international law firms based in Paris and Brussels as well as for the French railway company. 

Education and qualifications

Anna is admitted to the Paris Bar. She obtained her Master 2 in Competition Law from the University Paris-II Panthéon-Assas and graduated from the College of Europe with an LL.M. in European Law.
