Overview

As Partner Consultant, Katie focusses on ADR with appointments as arbitrator (including disputes between solicitor firms and former partners, and solicitors and their clients). She is also a mediator with 20 years' experience, including training and mentoring in Linklaters.

Katie specialised in all aspects of property disputes, including property finance and insolvency, landlord and tenant including rent review, lawyer/surveyor professional negligence and development issues, including rights to light.

Professional experience

Katie is a founding member of Property Litigation Association and Women’s Property Litigation Group. She has conducted more than 70 trials, plus appeals to Court of Appeal and House of Lords/Supreme Court, and is a former Deputy Chair of Civil Mediation Council.

Education and qualifications

Katie attended at University College London where she attained her Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons). She continued her study at London University where she completed her Master of Laws degree (Merit).

Katie is accredited with CEDR as a mediator, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
