Overview

Marta is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat). She has over 6 years of experience in providing comprehensive legal advice to domestic and foreign entities in real estate transactions, including pan-European portfolio transactions. Marta advises, among others, on acquisitions, development, construction, commercialisation and divestment processes of real estate and real estate holding companies, primarily in the office and logistics sector, as well as on the financing and refinancing of real estate acquisitions. She is also experienced in forward purchase and leaseback transactions, and has been involved in numerous due diligence exercises for potential investors.

Work highlights 

Marta's recent experience includes:

  • Develia: advising one of Poland’s largest developers on the €100m acquisition of the Polish subsidiaries of Nexity, the leading French developer. With the acquisition, Develia increased the number of residential units under construction by ca. 1,400, and its land bank by ca. 2,200 units, in Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań.
  • Nrep: advising on the acquisition of an 80% stake in 7R, one of Poland’s largest logistics developers. Nrep invested approximately €200m into the company.
  • Investika: advising on the acquisition of Royal Trakt Offices from PATRIZIA SE. 
  • Echo Investment: advising on the sale of the Face2Face Business Campus office complex in Katowice, to a joint venture of Investika and Bud Holdings. The deal value exceeded €100m.
  • A leading investment firm: advising on the establishment of a joint venture holding a portfolio of nine shopping centres and two retail parks across Poland.
  • CBRE Investment Management: advising on the acquisition of the Nexus portfolio, a 211,803 sqm logistics portfolio located in Poland, from European Logistics Investment.

Education and qualifications

Marta is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat) in Warsaw Bar Association.

Marta studied law at the University of Warsaw and Humboldt University in Berlin.

She speaks Polish, English and German.
