State of Emergency in Portugal: What it is?

Our Lisbon team have prepared guidelines around the declaration of the State of Emergency that occurred in Portugal, by Decree of the President of the Republic. The State of Emergency entered into force at 00:00 on 19 March and was declared with grounds in the occurrence of a situation of public calamity in Portugal, caused by the COVID-19 virus international pandemic.
