Linklaters’ formal association firm, Widyawan & Partners advise on the US$450m senior notes issuance by Indika Energy Capital IV Pte.Ltd
Linklaters’ formal association firm, Widyawan & Partners, acted as legal advisor to Deutsche Bank AG’s Singapore branch, Mandiri Securities Pte Ltd and Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited, as the international underwriters, on the issue of US$450m 8.25% senior notes, alongside a tap issuance of US$225m 8.25% senior notes, both due 2025, by Singapore-incorporated Indika Energy Capital IV Pte.Ltd, a subsidiary of Indonesia's leading integrated energy company PT Indika Energy Tbk.
The notes, listed on the Singapore Exchange, are issued based on a double special purpose vehicle issuance structure and are the first high yield bonds issued by an Indonesian company post-pandemic.
The transaction was led by Widyawan & Partners’ banking partner, Adrian Pranata, with support from managing associate Randy Irawan.
