Overview

Dominic is a Managing Associate in the Derivatives and Structured Products group in London, advising both buy-side and sell-side clients in relation to OTC derivatives and financial market infrastructure. Dominic has a particular focus on advising on, negotiating, and executing equity derivatives in the EMEA region, and was recently seconded to the strategic equity desk of a global bank.

Work highlights

Dominic has advised on many high-profile capital markets transactions, including advising:

  • a corporate client on the acquisition and hedging of a EUR 2.2 billion stake in a European-listed issuer using a range of derivative instruments 
  • eight global banks on the entry into separate funded collars over an aggregate EUR 2 billion stake over shares in a European-listed issuer 
  • a sovereign wealth fund on the sale covered call options over a EUR 250 million stake in a European-listed issuer
  • an international bank on the entry into a EUR 500 million total return swap with an Asian state owned enterprise over shares in a European-listed issuer

Education and qualifications

Dominic holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney, as well as undergraduate degrees in Applied Finance and Economics from Macquarie University, Sydney.
