Experience
Partner and Head of the firm’s Structured Finance Group, specialising in securitisation, structured finance, project and utility bonds and private or state structured guaranteed debt offerings. Acts for international investment banks and financial institutions as well as corporates in arranging their structured asset and cashflow financings, including real estate financing and restructurings in the bank and bond markets, and has acted on many of the largest liquidity funding structures to support UK financial institutions during the recent credit crisis. Experience covers corporate structured secured and unsecured financings (including whole business securitisations and sale and leaseback financings), as well as residential and commercial mortgage securitisations (RMBS and CMBS) and all aspects of the refinancing and restructuring of such transactions during the credit crisis. Recent work has included leading the asset backed and real estate finance legal work on the Lehman insolvency, receivables and consumer financings for Citigroup and RBS and structured asset financings for Goldman, RBS and Deutsche Bank.
