The Collective Redress Directive

The Collective Redress Directive introduces a right of collective redress across the EU. It requires member states to put in place procedures by which qualified entities can bring representative actions to seek injunctions, damages and other redress on behalf of a group of consumers who have been harmed by a trader who has allegedly infringed EU law. In our overview, we keep track of the implementation in selected EU member states.
