Remote work. New rules

On Friday, after several years of legislative work, the eagerly awaited Act of amending the Act - Labour Code and certain other acts has just been passed. It introduces provisions on remote work and the possibility for employers to carry out sobriety checks of employees and conduct tests for the presence of other illicit substances in their bodies. The Act is now awaiting the President’s signature and will then be published in the Journal of Laws. The regulations on remote work are to come into force two months after their publication, and the sobriety tests only two weeks after publication. In this Alert, we discuss the new regulations regarding remote work and draw attention to their practical aspects. In the next issue of the Alert, we will present the rules for testing employee sobriety.

We invite you to read the Alert.
