A New Era for Renting: Navigating the Renters’ Rights Act 2025

With the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 (RRA) gaining Royal Assent, the Government has set the stage for the most substantial reform of the residential private rented sector in decades. Once implemented, the RRA will abolish “no-fault” section 21 evictions and bring an end to assured shorthold tenancies, among other changes. Together, these changes are expected to fundamentally reshape the landscape for both landlords and tenants.
