HKMA Focuses on Directors’ Outside Mandates

Both locally incorporated banks and banks incorporated outside Hong Kong will need to do more to assess the time commitments of their senior personnel who hold outside mandates, with local banks adding a yearly submission to the HKMA on directors’ outside interests to their roster of corporate governance duties.
