UK, EU - ESMA updates MiFID II compliance function guidelines
ESMA published its Final Report on its Guidelines on the MiFID II Compliance Function requirements on 5 June 2020. The Guidelines replace and update ESMA’s pre-MiFID II compliance function guidelines from 2012, and are relevant to the compliance function at both buy- and sell-side firms.
