Don’t spoil the barrel: Final Mandatory Reference Checking Guidelines Issued

The final Guidelines on the new Mandatory Reference Checking regime in for the Hong Kong banking industry have been issued. Individuals applying for certain roles at banks will now need to have references from any bank employers from the past seven years, and banks will have a year to prepare their systems for the new requirements.
