The Final FRANDT-tier – Delegated act published in the Official Journal

On 8 September 2021, the EU Delegated Regulation specifying the conditions under which commercial terms offered for clearing services are considered to be fair, reasonable, non-discriminatory and transparent (the “FRANDT Delegated Regulation”) was published in the Official Journal. No substantive changes have been made to the version of the FRANDT Delegated Regulation adopted by the European Commission in June 2021.

The FRANDT Delegated Regulation enters into force on 9 September 2021 and will apply from 9 March 2022.
