New EU Data Governance Act published
The Data Governance Act or “DGA” has been published in the Official Journal on 3 June 2022. The DGA is part of a legal framework for the governance of data sharing.
The DGA also amends Regulation (EU) 2018/1724 establishing a single digital gateway to provide access to information, to procedures and to assistance and problem-solving services.
The DGA will enter into force on 23 June 2022 and will apply 15 months later, as of 24 September 2023.
