FRC finalises minimum standard on external audit for audit committees

The Financial Reporting Council has published a minimum standard on external audit for FTSE 350 audit committees, together with a feedback statement on the responses to the consultation draft.

Until the Audit, Reporting and Governance Authority gets the necessary powers to issue a mandatory standard, the new standard is voluntary and will operate on a comply or explain basis.
