Linklaters Expands U.S. Investment Funds Practice with Hire of Two Market-Leading Partners
- Jason L. Behrens and David C. Miller bring extensive experience with private equity and real estate fund sponsors and a variety of institutional investors

Linklaters is pleased to announce that Jason L. Behrens and David C. Miller have joined the firm’s New York office as partners in the Investment Funds group.
They have extensive experience representing private fund sponsors and institutional investors in connection with fund formation, the acquisition of portfolio investments and the implementation of exit strategies.
Jason L. Behrens centers his practice on the structuring, formation and negotiation of private closed ended funds. He deals regularly with sponsors raising funds in a variety of asset classes, including real estate and private equity. David C. Miller’s practice is focused on the representation of institutional investors and he regularly represents employee benefit plan trusts, funds of funds, foundations, endowments and family offices on their investment into funds and their secondary market transactions.
They both have joined from Schulte Roth & Zabel. Senior associate Jason D. Nussbaum and associate Elias N. Gurewitsch will also be joining Linklaters' Investment Funds practice from Schulte Roth & Zabel.
