Given the current volatility in the market and Linklaters’s expertise in this space, we have received various inquiries relating to the purchase or sale of portfolios of over-the-counter and listed derivatives and their related hedges. The purchase and sale of such portfolios can be complex and typically gives rise to several legal and operational issues. This note highlights a number of considerations for prospective participants in such transactions.
