New – Takeover Panel Bulletins

The Takeover Panel has introduced the publication of "Panel Bulletins". These bulletins will work alongside the existing Practice Statements (which provide informal guidance as to how the Takeover Panel normally interprets and applies relevant provisions of the Takeover Code in certain circumstances). These bulletins do not entail any changes to the interpretation or application of the Takeover Code but are intended to remind practitioners and market participants of the operation of specific provisions in the light of issues of which the Takeover Panel becomes aware.
