CSRC conducts second round of consultation on regulations for OTC derivatives trading

On 17 November 2023, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) published a second draft of the Administrative Measures for the Supervision of Derivatives Trading for public consultation. Further to the initial consultation in March this year, the CSRC has taken on board some of the comments raised by the market and revised the draft Administrative Measures for further consultation. 

We highlight in this Bulletin some of the key changes in the second draft of the Administrative Measures and specifically through the lens of an offshore institution.
