Spain - Spanish government takes further measures to support businesses and alleviate the effects of COVID-19

The Spanish government has adopted another raft of COVID-related measures aimed at supporting businesses. The new law (Royal Decree-Law 34/2020 of 17 November 2020), which entered into force on 19 November 2020, extends and/or clarifies certain measures taken earlier in the healthcare crisis. Further measures such as greater scrutiny of foreign investment are also introduced.
