FRC sets out next steps for audit and governance reform

The Financial Reporting Council has published a position paper which sets out how it will support the government’s reform of the UK’s audit and corporate governance systems during the FRC’s transition into its replacement regulator, the Audit, Reporting and Governance Authority. The position paper is meant to provide clarity on how and when reforms will be delivered in advance of government action being taken. It includes details which will be of interest to corporates as they will affect corporate governance, corporate reporting, and audit.
