Securities and Futures Commission finalises regulatory framework for virtual asset trading platforms

The SFC has just published the final Guidelines for Virtual Asset Trading Platforms, and we have highlighted some key points from the final version. The Guidelines contain the details for the new licensing and regulatory regime for Virtual Asset Trading Platforms which comes into force on 1 June 2023.
