UK Tax News is a round-up of recent UK tax developments relevant to large businesses.

In this week’s edition we report on the passage of the Finance Bill through Parliament and the enactment of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023. There have been some interesting cases on the process for claiming carry-back loss relief and on whether deemed residence under US domestic tax rules resulted in treaty residence under the UK-US double tax treaty. We have covered HMRC’s updates to the Corporate Finance Manual in relation to the corporate interest restriction rules.
