EU reduces scope of EU Benchmarks Regulation from 1 January 2026

Legislation amending the Benchmarks Regulation has been published on the Official Journal of the EU and will apply from 1 January 2026. As a result of these changes, EU regulated firms will have more flexibility to use benchmarks that are not in the scope of the revised Benchmarks Regulation.
