Exploring Singapore’s Proposed Segregation and Custody Requirements for DPTSPs

Following the consultation on proposed regulatory measures in late 2022 , the MAS has finalised and published its policy positions on the customer assets segregation and custody requirements for DPTSPs. These policy positions will be implemented through amendments to the Payment Services Regulations 2019 (“PSR”) as well as through guidelines to be published around October 2023.
