UK EMIR 2.2: Bank of England issues consultation papers on incoming CCPs

On 8 November 2021 the Bank of England published a consultation paper setting out its approach to “tiering” incoming central counterparties under Article 25 of the onshored European Market Infrastructure Regulation. The Bank also published a complementary consultation paper on its approach to granting comparable compliance under EMIR Article 25a.
