HM Treasury announces extensions to UK EMIR pension scheme clearing and intragroup exemptions

On 28 March 2023, HM Treasury announced that it intends to lay a statutory instrument extending the temporary exemption from the clearing obligation for pension schemes and the temporary exemptions from clearing and margining for intragroup transactions with counterparties in non-equivalent jurisdictions.
