New reporting rules for large UK companies aim to improve corporate governance

The Government has published draft regulations which will require the largest UK companies – public or private – to include new statements in their strategic and directors’ reports. The new requirements cover four areas: risk and resilience; dividends; the company’s audit and assurance policy; and material fraud.
