Experience

John is a partner in Linklaters’ banking practice in London. After being global head of the banking practice then head of the finance division and managing partner of the Americas, John returned to full-time practice in July 2011.  He advises many of the world's leading banks and corporations on international financing transactions. His work includes syndicated lending, secured and structured financings, acquisition, structured trade and project finance and restructuring work. Recent work includes:

  • Advising JP Morgan, RBS, UBS and Bank of America on a variety of leveraged, structured, liquidity and other financing transactions
  • Advising on a variety of financings for Glencore
  • Advising Travis Perkins on its £550m forward start facility
