National security: Government feedback on proposal to block listings

HM Treasury has published a summary of the responses to its public consultation from June this year on a new standalone power for the Government to block listings on national security grounds. Overall, the respondents were supportive of the Government’s proposed new power, to the extent that it is implemented in a way that does not disproportionately impact the attractiveness of UK capital markets.
