  • Steinhoff: defense against multiple mass claims following the announcement of its accounting irregularities and advising on its EUR 14,5bn suspension of payments recapitalising the company through settling the shareholders’ mass claims
  • Gilde Equity Management: advising on the takeover of DPA Group and successful defense in subsequent minority shareholder litigation

  • Airbus: defense of its non-executive directors against collective action in relation to alleged failures to disclose price-sensitive information in relation to corruption and subsequent prosecution trajectory by various authorities
  • A major oil corporation: advising on an investment arbitration versus the State of Ecuador
  • ING: on a number of their debt and regulatory capital issues
  • Unilever: advising on its defence against the hostile takeover bid of Kraft Heinz and 3G, the divestment of its spreads-division to KKR and on the acquisition of the Vegetarische Slager, representation in squeeze out proceedings re minority holders of cumulative preference shares
