Linklaters advises Henderson Park on its office portfolio acquisition in Poland and joint venture with EPP
Linklaters has advised Henderson Park Capital Partners, a UK-based pan-European private equity real estate investor, on its acquisition of a 70% interest in a portfolio of newly built office buildings located across Poland from EPP. The fully-let portfolio features 11 new Grade A office structures totaling 105,000 sqm situated in the cities of Kraków, Poznań and Lódż. EPP, a leading Polish real estate investor listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, will retain a 30% stake in the portfolio and continue to manage the assets under a joint venture partnership with Henderson Park.
The transaction team advising Henderson Park was led by Warsaw Real Estate counsel Michał Mieciński with support from Real Estate senior associate Zuzanna Lipska and associates Żaneta Rogon and Patrycja Czarnecka. Christopher Quinn, a managing associate in the Warsaw Corporate/M&A department provided advice on the JV-related aspects of the deal. Guido Portier, Smit Gijs, Jos van Boeijen, Niki van Kessel and Ruth van der Haar from the Linklaters Amsterdam office provided Dutch law assistance.
