International Women’s Day - Towards a Union of Equality: are we making progress?

On 5 March 2020, the European Commission (the “Commission”) presented its Gender Equality Strategy, which frames the Commission’s work on gender equality and sets out the policy objectives and key actions for the 2020-2025 period.

International Women’s Day provides the perfect opportunity to review the European Union’s progress in this respect thus far.
